Dunbar

Dunbar is a quality made red dun gelding with a classic, muscular build. He has nice shape, size, bone and feet. He has a great handle on him, side passes, works a gate, turns on his forehand or hind end, Dunbar was earning his keep on the ranch before coming into our program. He is great outside and is well behaved alone or in a group. Dunbar crosses water, bridges, logs, ditches, tarps; and does everything we have asked quickly and very willingly! Dunbar tries hard to please! He has worked cattle and done everything you need to do on a ranch. He is willing to move out when you ask. He would make a great ranch horse, rope horse, or competitive trail horse. He has excellent ground manners, leads, loads, hauls, is great for the vet and farrier, stands for mount and dismount, easy to catch, lead, bathe, groom, pick feet, saddle, bridle, stands tied, great in new places and gets along well with other horses. Dunbar is more of a one person horse and does take a little longer to acclimate and bond to his rider. With that in mind, he's not a horse we can say will fit an absolute beginner like our normal horses and his sale will be final without our standard exchange guarantee. His video is true to how he rides, but of course anyone is welcome to come try him out. He's great horse, just not a horse that fits every rider! Call us and we can answer any questions you have. He has been on our ranch for over a year. If he's the type of horse you're looking for, he's a bargain! He's 100% sound, vetted, and vaccinated.
