Watson

Watson – Gorgeous Black & White Gypsy Gelding Watson is the kind of horse that gets noticed everywhere he goes! This gorgeous 5-year-old, 14.3-hand Gypsy gelding has the classic black-and-white piebald coloring, beautiful feathering, and unmistakable presence that make the Gypsy breed so special. But as impressive as Watson is to look at, it’s his quiet, willing disposition and versatility that really make him stand out. Watson rides both English and Western and is the kind of horse that makes riding enjoyable. He’s quiet, gentle, and uncomplicated, with a willing attitude and a great mind. Whether you want to spend the day riding around the arena, head down the trail, or just enjoy a relaxing ride around the farm, Watson is happy to go wherever you point him. Out on the trails, Watson is confident and dependable. He’ll ride through the woods, across open country, up and down hills, and through water without making a big deal out of things. He’s comfortable riding out and approaches new surroundings with the sensible, level-headed attitude we love to see in a trail horse. We’ve also taken Watson through our obstacle course and exposed him to all the unusual things our horses encounter here. He handles obstacles quietly and willingly and takes new challenges in stride. Rather than looking for something to worry about, Watson wants to figure out what you’re asking and go on with the job. In the arena, he has a comfortable, enjoyable way of going and transitions easily between English and Western tack. His size is another thing we really like about him—at 14.3 hands, he’s substantial enough to comfortably carry an adult while still being an approachable size for a wide variety of riders. On the ground, Watson is every bit as enjoyable as he is under saddle. He has that sweet, people-oriented personality the Gypsy breed is known for and enjoys attention, grooming, and spending time with his people. He’s the kind of horse that’s easy to fall in love with before you ever climb in the saddle. With his striking piebald coloring, beautiful Gypsy looks, quiet disposition, and true English-and-Western versatility, Watson offers the combination that is so difficult to find in one horse. Whether you’re looking for a dependable trail partner, a beautiful horse to enjoy around the farm, or a versatile family horse that can do a little bit of everything, Watson is one you’ll be proud to own and excited to see waiting for you at the barn.
