Hudson

Hudson is a 15.3 hh black tobiano Friesian Sport Horse with a heart and mind of pure gold. He was raised in an Amish family that gave him an exceptional foundation, shaping him into the kind of horse that truly wants to be your partner. He’s been exposed to just about everything and has had a thoughtful, well-rounded upbringing. Hudson has that dreamy, floaty movement you look for and is just as comfortable in both an English or western saddle. He carries himself beautifully, collects with light pressure, and moves easily off your leg. He would shine as a dressage partner but is just as happy hitting the trails. Out on the trail, Hudson is sure-footed, athletic, and confident. He’s been exposed to tarps, ATVs, flags, wildlife, and all kinds of obstacles both here in our program and at his previous home. He handles new situations with a steady, willing attitude and always rises to the occasion. Friesians are known for their affectionate nature, and Hudson is no exception. He has that “golden retriever” personality—he genuinely loves people and thrives on attention. He’s the kind that wants to be right there with you, whether you’re riding or just spending time in the barn. We are incredibly proud to offer a horse like Hudson.
