He is royally bred by NRHA Futurity finalist Little Catstep and being a grandson of Wimpys Little Step with New Chex To Cash, High Brow Cat and Streakin Six also all on his papers! Starbucks stands 15.1 hands, weighs 1200 lbs and has beautiful conformation and looks likes just like his dad and maybe even a little more flashy! He is built very correct- with a deep shoulder and hip angle and strong back. He has a massive hip and great size of hoof and bone! Starbucks knows the reining maneuver basics, but is skilled in all aspects of ranch work. He's drug calves to fire, sorted cattle, and everything else that goes along with the job of a true ranch horse! He has an extremely soft and collected trot and lope. Starbucks has a great handle, big stop and travels very levelheaded. Starbucks does a very nice job on the trails and is sure-footed on all terrain. He has also gone through extreme trail course obstacles like logs, teeter totter, opening gates and elevated obstacles with ease. Everybody in the barn loves to ride Starbucks, they feel perfectly safe on him and he gives them a lot of confidence. He definitely takes care of his rider. Starbucks not only is a fantastic western horse, but he's also versatile enough to go english. We've taken him through poles, x-rails, and even some verticals and he acts like he's been doing it his whole life. Starbucks stands very quiet while being clipped, bathed and for the farrier.
