We say Goodbye to a Legend!

Stormy was a part of our story, our family, our hearts even before there was an HOMD. He crossed the rainbow bridge far too soon last month after 36 amazing, life changing years! Stormy has been and always will the standard we hold every pony to and one of the catalyst for starting HOMD. For more than 2 decades he was a fixture in our annual social media posts and a great sport along the way, sometimes hanging out with pilgrims and indians, sometimes with bunny ears, sparkling twinkle toes, toting puppies, kids, customers and through it all he had a heart of gold spreading love and putting smiles on everyone’s faces. To say we all owe so much to that little guy would be an understatement! He was the quintessential kids pony, confidante, babysitter that made our kids the riders they are today, Stormy will be missed but his memory will be cherished always! Stormy’s legacy will carry on in our commitment to help our families find their own “Stormy” whatever size, shape or color he/she comes in, to create their own experiences and stories just like this one for their kids and grandkids. RIP STORMY

She received a solid foundation from an early age participating and training in hunter/jumpers and dressage which led to a great show career eventing. She shifted her focus to reining in her teenage years and excelled in the transition largely in part from coaching from great trainers like Randy Schaffhauser and Shawn Flarida. After competing at a high level in both AQHA youth and NRHA shows, she accepted a D1 scholarship to ride for Baylor University where she was named team Captain for 2 consecutive years. After graduating, Isabella used her Marketing and Entrepreneurship degrees working in Ft. Worth while continuing to commute on the weekends back home to Arkansas to help at HOMD with videos and assuming the reins of our social media-which is no small job on its own! Her horse knowledge and skills are a huge part of what she brings to HOMD, but more importantly she is the sweetest and most humble person you will ever meet and she embodies what we…
